Built in the late 1800s, this historic mansion has been under the ownership of many hands over the years. Around 1987, it was donated to the Northern Indiana Historical Society. Known as The Oliver Inn since 2005, it is now owned by a local couple living their dream.
The inn is named for the original family that owned this property long ago.
Built in the Queen Anne style, this mansion features many historic fixtures and furnishings that you won't likely see anywhere else. Be sure to traverse all the spacious downstairs rooms to see it all.
There is a dining room where guests will enjoy a hot, fresh breakfast each morning. This inn regularly makes French toast, pancakes, quiche, strudels, cinnamon rolls, and more. There is always fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and tea available.
There are about 10 guestrooms in total, most of which have private baths and televisions. Room rates start at $140 and can go as high as $339 per night for the top-level room.
Some rooms also have Jacuzzi tubs, walk-in showers, clawfoot tubs, fireplaces, private porches, and king or queen sized beds. Make your stay extra special with romantic dinner packages, chocolate, rose petals, and more.
