In fact, I’m a little bit obsessed; that’s why I’m constantly perusing all the best vacation rentals in the Midwest (you know… just to see what’s out there), and I found an incredible cozy cottage in Indiana that’s literally perfect for two things: solitary quiet time, and/or some alone time with your significant other in a setting that’s beyond absolutely beautiful. From the outside, this little place looks simple. Cute, even.

And it is cute, but I suspect the better adjective might be perfect.

Perfection is indeed a tall order, but it does describe the place. Take a look for yourself!

It's somehow both modern and quaint, and beautifully decorated on the inside (which is compact but still somehow offers plenty of space). The rental home in and of itself is an absolute delight, but there's one feature that we just kind of need to point out....

...and that's the incredible views from the cottage thanks to its place atop a hill.

The rolling emerald-green hills all around you with seemingly endless skies above are sure to lull your soul into a place of total peace, and bliss will shortly follow.

The amenities are plenty, too. You'll have a hot tub (from April through October, anyway), vaulted ceilings, ambient lighting, and a peaceful escape from all things hectic about city life.

Snuggle up to watch your favorite shows after the sun goes down; enjoy a delicious home-cooked dinner and kick back knowing that when you wake up in the morning you'll look outside and see that incredible countryside again.

For the warmer months, there's even a crystal-blue swimming pool (also with some amazing views).

Wander around the 100-acre property and check it out from top to bottom; it's perfect for a morning (or evening) stroll and some good old-fashioned bird watching.

Sunsets and sunrises here are particularly glorious, so be sure to get up early (and then meander outdoors again later).

As one of the most remote places to stay in Indiana, you'll definitely forget about all your worries here.
