Indiana is home to an almost infinite number of adorable small towns to explore and, eventually, fall in love with. It's especially delightful if you're like me and all you've ever known is the blur and whir of big city life; it's an entirely different world, and I truly love it. I enjoy sharing everything I love about it with you guys - my readers and friends; today, I'd like to show off an adorable little vacation home rental near Berne, Indiana, in the tiny town of Decatur.

Welcome to this beautiful, two-bedroom cottage located in the little town of Decatur, a suburb of Fort Wayne.

It's nice and easy, and at just over four miles in length, it makes for an excellent workout while taking in the beauty of Indiana's outdoors. It's dreamlike during the summer and autumn in particular.

Another nearby favorite is the town of Berne, which is Indiana's "Little Switzerland".

This delightful small town in Indiana is equal parts charm and fun, with lots of shops and eateries to explore and some truly one-of-a-kind attractions, too. The Berne Clock Tower - shown above - is a favorite among visitors and photographers for its truly unique vibe.

While you're close, you might as well check out the Swiss Heritage Village and Museum, too.

Other nearby attractions include gems like Ouabache State Park, one of our many hidden gems, as well as Lehman Park and the Berne Public Library.
