Idaho is no stranger to uniquely themed hotels. We have a motel shaped like a giant beagle, for Pete's sake. However, there are two themed hotels here in Idaho that takes it's themes to a whole other level. A stay at the Black Swan Inn in Pocatello or the Destinations Inn in Idaho Falls, both of which are under the same ownership, is a truly unique experience in itself. Each one of their rooms is extravagantly decorated in order to transport you to a different place and time. You're sure to fall in love with at least one of these rooms, so take a look!
The Black Swan Inn is located in Pocatello and has been creating unique experiences for hotel guests for the past two decades. The experience starts as soon as you step on the premises, where even the outside of the building looks like something out of a fairy tale.
The inn contains 14 different themed rooms, ranging from the weird and wacky to the romantic and extraordinary.
Travel back in time by booking a night in the Black Swan's "Wild West Room". The attention to detail in the room is out of this world. It even comes complete with a watering can shower head! All of the rooms are both fully immersed in their themes whilst upholding a feeling of luxury.
The "Sea Cave Suite" will transport you to an underwater world full of everything sea-related!
The king size bed is surrounded by a huge, twinkling clam shell. Hand painted murals take up the entirety of the walls. You can even soak in the jetted tub while enjoying the two aquariums in the room!
At 750 square feet, the Black Swan Garden Suite is the largest room at the inn. The room takes on the theme of a 17th century European garden and features everything you could ever desire for a night of rest and relaxation.
The Garden Suite features a infra-red sauna, double headed walk-in shower, a kitchenette area, and a custom built gazebo. The trickling sound of the garden fountain will instantly put you at ease!
The "Rocky Mountain Cabin Suite" is one of the least wacky rooms, but has an incredibly cozy atmosphere that will make you wish you could stay forever.
