There’s A Breathtaking Hotel Tucked Away Inside Of This Georgia State Park

If you're looking to spend the night in a Georgia state park, you have plenty of options. Many of our 63 state parks and historical sites allow overnight camping, whether in cabins or with tent and RV sites. One thing that very few Peach State state parks have, though, is on-site hotels. If you prefer the hotel experience to camping, you don't have many options without leaving the grounds of our parks. One state park in Georgia that does have a hotel is the beautiful Unicoi State Park and Lodge in Helen. This amazing park is incredibly gorgeous and has several options for overnight lodging: a campground, cabins, and even a lovely hotel!
Unicoi is one of our favorite state parks in Georgia. This magical place is nestled in the northeast Georgia mountains and has amazing scenery.
You'll find plenty of opportunities for fun here, with loads of gorgeous trails.
The proximity to the Chattahoochee River means there's plenty of chances to kayak or swim.
Many opt to camp or stay in the park's cabins, but did you know there's a lovely hotel right on the grounds?
