This Is The Grooviest Hotel In Georgia And You’ll Definitely Want To Visit
Are you a fan of the flower child aesthetic from the 1970s? We get it: we love The Brady Bunch, lava lamps, beaded curtains, and everything else from the 1960s and 1970s. It was a beautiful time period filled with distinctive artwork and bright, eye-catching colors unlike anything seen before or since. Fans of everything groovy won't want to miss the most hippie hotel in Georgia: The Groovy Nomad, not far from the Tennessee state line. This place is a complete throwback to simpler times when the going was hip and everything was copacetic. Check it out:
The aptly-named Groovy Nomad is a brand new boutique hotel in Trenton, Georgia, just about 20 minutes from Chattanooga. The Dade County hotel was empty for many years and was recently purchased by a local couple.
All of the rooms have been fully renovated, including new plumbing and wiring.
Each room has a different theme, but all are heavy on the retro vibe.
Even the bathrooms follow the theme - we love the funky colorful vibe!
Several of the rooms are still being renovated, but most are currently available for rent.
This is such an adorably unique place to stay, and it's so close to a number of great attractions. It's right in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia, and not far from Cloudland Canyon State Park and Chattanooga.
This is such a beautiful area of the state that's often overlooked by tourists, but you'll find plenty to do in the region. A stay at The Groovy Nomad will guarantee that your overnight accommodations are just as great as everything else on your trip.
