Discover 5 Unique and Exceptional Airbnbs Across Georgia
What better way to spend your vacation than at a unique getaway?
I'm a big fan of staying somewhere unique when I travel. Sure, it's easier to just pay attention to the highway exit signs and just grab the quickest chain motel, but I want to make sure that where I rest my head at night is as memorable as the rest of my journey.
If you feel the same way, you're in luck, because there are plenty of unique places to stay in Georgia. Personally, I love vacation rentals because they provide a touch of homeyness even when I'm far from home. Today, we're featuring some of the most unique vacation rentals in the Peach State that are just as much fun as the rest of your itinerary. Check them out.
1. Cloud 9 Tiny Home in Rising Fawn, GA
It doesn't get much more beautiful than a trip to Cloud 9 in Rising Fawn. This luxurious place was once a shipping container; now it's a tiny home with a kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, and rooftop deck. Not only are the views from the Airbnb amazing, but it's also only about 15 miles from downtown Chattanooga and 10 miles from Cloudland Canyon State Park, one of the state's most gorgeous state parks. The home can host up to two guests, but note that it's not appropriate for children under 13, and no pets are allowed.
2. The Lens Lodge in Ellijay, GA
We've featured The Lens Lodge before, but no list of unique vacation rentals in Georgia would be complete without this camera-shaped Airbnb in North Georgia. The luxurious interior features tons of natural light and some of the best views you've ever seen of the surrounding mountain area. There's plenty of privacy on the two-acre property, and you'll also enjoy a full kitchen and hot tub. There are two beds that can sleep up to four guests, and the views from the room's windows are truly a sight to see.
3. The Silo Under the Stars in Hahira, GA
The Silo at Oak Hill Farm is a beautiful little converted grain bin on a historic farm in South Georgia. You'll get to enjoy eggs laid right on the farm, and have the option to enjoy fun concierge add-ons like charcuterie boards or champagne with strawberries. This stay on a cabin farm does a wonderful job of combining luxury with rustic charm, and the interior is so warm and inviting that it's hard to believe it was ever a grain bin. The one-bedroom Airbnb can host one or two guests, and it's a perfect option if you're looking for a romantic escape under the stars.
4. TreeHausATL in Smyrna, GA
Always wanted that treehouse as a kid, but never got to play around in one? Who says you can't live out your childhood dreams now? At TreeHausATL, now you can. This one-bed, one-bath rental can host up to four guests and offers a warm and cozy experience for anyone to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. With the Battery and Truist Park just minutes away, you can come back home after a nice day out, spend some time by the fire pit, take a hot shower, and snuggle up on the king-sized bed as you fall asleep to the sounds of nature.
5. Farm Stay With Horses in Canton, GA
If you're seriously in need of a remote vacation, you'll want to stay at this rustic farmhouse. And while the cozy decor of this property warmly invites you in, the best part of the stay just may be the horses you get to share it with. This home comes with an on-site farm that has three horses. Imagine throwing something on the grill, turning on the fire pit, drinking some wine outside, and getting to know these majestic creatures. Doesn't that sound incredible? And to make matters even more fun, you can also purchase add-ons like a yoga session, a charcuterie board, and a private chef who cooks you dinner.
We all need to take a break once in a while, so why not use your time off to explore a new area? We think you'll love these getaway spots. And if you're looking for more things to do during your stay, be sure to visit our itinerary planner for nearby recommendations!
