If you grew up in Delaware, chances are you've daydreamed about what it would be like to live as a DuPont. The "First Family" of Delaware is known for its opulent estates and sprawling gardens. While we love touring the rooms of Winterthur or the grounds of Hagley and Nemours, there's one unique experience that will make you feel like you're truly a part of the family, even if it's just for a short time. Plan a stay at the Inn at Montchanin Village and you'll feel like royalty!
The beautiful Inn at Montchanin Village was once a DuPont hamlet, tucked away as part of a Brandywine Valley Estate. Today, you can stay here and truly enjoy an escape from your busy life.
The idyllic and peaceful grounds will put you at ease the minute you step onto the property. It's hard to believe this paradise is right in Wilmington!

You won't find chic modern furnishings here. The appeal of the Inn is its history, and it feels like a quiet step back in time.

The rooms are inviting and offer plenty of space to make yourself at home. Whether you're visiting for a warm weather getaway or to warm up from a cold winter, you'll find comfort here.
Book a massage, facial, or other spa experience to make your relaxing, royal stay complete!

This vintage Rehoboth Beach house dates back to 1929 and it was built by the grandparents of the current owners. It has a name - Adelmare - which means "by the sea" in Italian.
You'll be both worlds away and just steps from the beach when you stay here. Despite being only one house from the sand, the wooded lot and secluded, set-back house feels like its own pristine paradise.
Despite its age, the house has been maintained beautifully, and there is a lot of open, airy space to make yourself comfortable.
Enjoy a book from the home's library, or get some work done at the vintage desk across the way. Cozy up by the fireplace, or sit around the table and play some cards when you hang out with friends or family.
The dining room is plenty big enough for a family meal, and the decor celebrates all things Delaware.
