Prescott is one of my favorite small-city escapes in Arizona. Its Old West charm, historic sites, saloons, and Courthouse Square make it a lovely place for a day trip or a quick fall getaway. If you prefer more solitude than what you'd find downtown, there's a cozy A-frame tucked away from civilization in the mountains surrounding Prescott.
