Dream Spring Break in Arizona: Where I’d Go if Money Was No Object
If my bank account was loaded, this is what I would do on my spring break in Arizona. This family-friendly vacation has something for everyone to love!
Can you believe that we’re already thinking about spring break? It feels like we just celebrated Christmas and New Year's. However, I am not complaining because I am always in "vacation mode," searching for my next big adventure. While my perfect vacation will vary, my ideal spring break bucket list getaway in Arizona would be relaxing in one of the most luxurious resort-style Airbnbs I can find.
If money were no object, spending the week at Breakthrough Acres would be a dream come true. This luxurious Airbnb in Scottsdale has everything for the ultimate spring break vacation in Arizona: a swimming pool with a slide, a private hot tub, multiple fire pits, an arcade, mini golf, a basketball/pickleball court, plus a playground for the little ones. Seriously, what more can I ask for?
When it comes to vacationing in Arizona, choosing Scottsdale is a no-brainer for me. Not only is it a fantastic destination for relaxing, but there are tons of family-friendly activities here. And since I’m unbothered about the cost, the Breakthrough Acres, with its resort-style backyard and extra amenities, would be my choice for a spring break getaway.
This massive 6,000-square-foot oasis is nestled inside Pinnacle Peak, a quiet community within minutes of golf courses and attractions, and nearby Pinnacle Peak Park is also a great place to go for epic hiking through the desert and mountain landscape. The five-bedroom home has enough beds to accommodate up to 16 guests, so that I can invite a large group of friends or family.
I absolutely adore everything about this exquisite Airbnb. The gorgeous open-concept house is designed with luxury and comfort in mind. Each room is beautifully decorated, spacious, and has a touch of sophistication. I especially love the master bedroom, which features a large bathroom with a soaking tub, a fireplace, a private outdoor furnished patio, and a fire pit. I think sleeping in this luxurious suite will make me feel like a queen.
Other modern features include a well-equipped kitchen with an island and plenty of seating. It will be a fantastic spot for my friends and family to gather while my dad prepares our daily meals. He believes he’s a world-class chef, so that he will feel right at home in this large, modern kitchen with updated appliances.
The game room is another spot where we would spend our days. Inside is a pool table, arcade games, board games, a flatscreen TV, and lots of comfy seating. I can imagine spending hours in the game room with my family playing a “friendly” game of billiards. And while the interior of the house is quite impressive, the real highlight is the backyard. With views of Arizona’s desert landscape coupled with numerous bonus amenities, I might not want to leave this Scottsdale paradise.
First is a heated swimming pool with a spa, waterfall, and slide. Moreover, there are sun loungers and a daybed where I can soak up the sun and relax with a tropical drink. If that’s not enough, I could see my family challenge each other to mini golf, basketball, and ping pong. After a day of activities, my dad would fire up the BBQ and prepare a meal; then, we would light the fire pit and gaze at the gorgeous Arizona sunset as it paints the desert sky.
Best of all? We can wake up and relive the day all over again. We really don’t need to leave this home while vacationing, but if there are kids in our group, visiting Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs to see the life-size animatronic prehistoric creatures would be a treat for them. Of course, I would opt for the Paleo Package, which includes VIP passes, access to the Adventure Arcade, guided tours, and more.
In addition, I’ve dreamt of driving or riding through the desert in a Jeep, so this Sonoran Desert Jeep Tour at Sunset would be on my list. If we get hungry while out exploring the attractions in Scottsdale, I will take my entire group to Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament for a night of sword fighting and jousting. I’ve been to several shows; they’re always so much fun!
Of course, at the end of the night, I would return to the Breakthrough Acres Airbnb to luxuriate some more. Perhaps money will be no concern one day, and I can make this trip a reality. But, for now, I will keep dreaming of my ultimate spring break vacation in Arizona.
