7 Last-Minute Getaways In Arizona For A Fun End-Of-Summer Retreat

Head outside and you'll find a pool, a fire pit, and a hot tub along with an outdoor area. With its location between Kierland Commons and Old Town Scottsdale, you'll be able to easily find shopping and dining options nearby.
2. Saguaro Oasis Retreat near National Park — Tucson
Located close to Saguaro National Park, the Saguaro Oasis Retreat is a nature lover's oasis. Close to hiking and biking trails, you can certainly spend your time outdoors as much as you'd like. Situated in the Groom Creek area of Prescott just a 10-minute drive from Whiskey Row and close to numerous hiking trails, the Silver King Cabin is an incredible home base for adventure. Take a kayak out on one of the nearby lakes, spend time downtown, or just relax back at the cabin. It's such a relaxing escape to spend time this summer!
4. A-Frame On The Rocks — Payson
If you want to be close to hiking trails, all you have to do is head to the backyard of A-Frame On The Rocks in Payson where you'll find a trailhead. 5. Twenty Oak — Sedona

You'll also be close to Slide Rock Park where you can swim and use the rocks as a natural water slide in the summer months.

The Vineyard House in Cornville is such a serene place to stay yet close enough to Sedona, Oak Creek, and several vineyards where you can spend time enjoying the last bits of summer. This home was built in 1958 but updated with modern amenities while maintaining its original charm. Outside, you'll have use of a communal pool and hot tub.
7. Modern Rustic Dog-Friendly Cabin — Pine
With views of the Mogollon Rim and all there is to explore in the area, this modern rustic home is a perfect last-minute summer getaway. Up to four guests can stay in this 2-bedroom, 2-bath home which also happens to be dog-friendly!
