Juneberry Lodge is a little piece of history in the fun little town of Homer, Alaska.

This land was actually purchased in 1929 when homesteader Jack Dietz claimed 134 acres in the area. The land was subdivided and this beautiful lodge was built in 1987.

The lodge is two stories of fun, rustic design.

There's cozy common places for the guests to relax and enjoy the wood stove. There's beautiful leather upholstered chairs, and even a telescope to view the sights with!

There are four different rooms available for guests to book.

There are two queen bedrooms available and one room with twin beds. The loft has a queen bed and a four bed bunk room! They are all tastefullyl furnished with fun log furniture and beautiful linens!

The property has alder and birch, and the views from the rooms frame the gorgeous landscape outside.

Each room has little touches like hand-hewn log beds, writing tables, hand made rugs, and stunning vintage quilted bedspreads. Some of the rooms have private bathrooms, and some share with other rooms.

They offer a full hot breakfast to all of their guests staying at the lodge.

The breakfasts are plentiful and filled with great, hearty ingredients to send you off on a fun filled day. They even accommodate special dietary requests!

The yard is expansive and is beautifully landscaped.

There's a large deck where you can enjoy the wildlife meandering through, or the sights of the Alaskan mountains in the distance. Take your morning cup of coffee or evening beverage out on the deck to relax and take in the peace of the area.

This lovely place is open all year round for those travelers wanting something with the classic Alaskana style.
