It’s located at the end of a 60-mile gravel road in the small and fairly remote town of McCarthy, Alaska.

There are also nice dark curtains to draw over the windows if you don't want to let the late Alaska sun in. Everywhere you look the cabin feels fresh and inviting and the bedroom is no exception.

Getting here is also an adventure.
You can park in the lot closest to the river or a little farther away when you drive in. There is a nightly parking fee depending on which lot you choose, after which you’ll head over to the McCarthy Footbridge to await your pickup!
Bags and gear can easily be piled up on top of their sturdy wagons.
It fits perfectly on the bridge, making bringing your baggage much more straightforward. It’s a fun way to begin your adventure in the wilderness!
