If you’re looking for an adventure, head to the interior of the state. In the forest outside of Denali National Park is a small yet cozy authentic handmade cabin in Healy, Alaska. You’ll want to rough it in this amazing and beautifully built log cabin!

Head on up to Healy, right outside Denali National Park, for a weekend getaway in this cozy log cabin.

Rustic yet well crafted, this is a great place to base your adventures from. You’re only 30 miles from the Denali National Park entrance.

Unlike many cabins in Alaska, this has many amenities not found in most places.

You’ll find a nice locking front door, sliding glass windows, and even outdoor patio furniture. Circle around the fire and enjoy a beautiful evening after a day of hiking.

The cabin is available to rent all year long.

A nice and toasty wood-fired stove was just installed so that your stay will be warm and cozy. You can also ski in and ski out to this awesome little cabin.

You have to hike a mile from where you park your car to get to the cabin.

This means pack light if you’re not taking an ATV or snow machine out. It will be cumbersome carrying many heavy things, and you might have to take a couple of trips.

There isn’t much inside the cabin in the way of furniture.

Expect to bring your own mattress or camping pad. There’s also no electricity or WiFi, so you’ll find yourself loving the true Alaskan experience. The bedroom area is in a loft accessible by ladder.

There’s just enough room downstairs to stow your gear and make a meal.

You’ll want to spend as much time as you can outside, anyway! Be sure to pack bug spray if you’re visiting in the summer, because the mosquitoes can be aggressive. Keep your eyes peeled for the varied wildlife that will roam outside the window, including bears, lynx, wolverine, wolves, and moose.

This great little cabin starts at an amazing $59.00 per night.

With prices like these, you know it won’t last long. Make sure to book your reservation as far in advance as possible.
