Moose-Aka’s opened as a food truck first in 2015, in Healy, Alaska.

This grew so popular that they ended up opening their restaurant in 2017. That same year, Food and Wine named Moose-Aka’s the coziest restaurant in Alaska.

They’ve earned this award ten times over, as their fabulous dishes are constantly raved about. Find Serbian specialties like Sopska Salad, homemade Corba (a Serbian soup,) and Pohovana Palacinke, a unique Serbian specialty of tempura fried crepes! Therefore, when you're looking for something to do outside in Alaska, head to Denali National Park for both hiking and a memorable dining experience.

One of the most interesting aspects of this restaurant is its wine list.

They offer both imported wine and beer from Serbia. It’s a wonderful way to try new varietals that aren’t offered anywhere else in the state. This experience alone makes Denali one of the best national parks to visit in Alaska.

They hold brunch at this restaurant every day from 11:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m.

The restaurant is open seven days a week, from May through September.
