11 Reasons We Are Thankful For Living In West Virginia
Thanksgiving is over, but we don't need a special day of the year to be thankful for living here. We are thankful for that all the time! Here are just a few reasons to be thankful for living in the Mountain State.
1. The forests make the best playgrounds.
2. There's so much beauty here.
3. We've got big cities.... well, big-enough cities.
4. But they're not so big that we have to sit in traffic like this.
5. And we’ve got interesting and fun small towns.
6. West Virginia towns have so much culture.
7. We learned family values from a young age.
8. Small town life is perfect for growing up and for raising a family.
9. We’ve got a great history; we were the only state formed by seceding from a confederate state during the Civil War.
10. There’s so much to do here, like fish the state’s lakes and rivers.
11. West Virginians are the best people in the world.
