9 Ways Living In North Dakota Ruins You For Life
Life tends to be easygoing and pleasant in North Dakota. We've got tons to offer, including a great place for anyone to grow up. It's a pretty sweet deal but it can totally ruin anywhere else you happen to go later in life. We've been a little spoiled by living here, and when we move away here are some things that will linger with us:
1. You'll miss seeing as many stars as you do in North Dakota.
2. And you'll never be able to top a North Dakotan sunset or sunrise.
3. Caramel rolls anywhere else just won't live up to the hugeness and deliciousness of those made in ND.
4. And you'll miss all the cultural foods that people in other places probably don't know how to spell or pronounce properly.
5. You might feel claustrophobic in extremely dense urban environments after getting used to all the space and small towns.
6. Winters everywhere else won't live up to winters in North Dakota, and everyone complaining about what they think is a cold will make you roll your eyes.
7. County fairs in other places just won't live up to North Dakota's fairs that you grew up with.
8. You won't be able to see the yearly transition of crops from a freshly tilled field to the tallest stalks of corn.
9. And you'll miss the unique beauty found in ND that you just can't find anywhere else.
If you love North Dakota as much as I do, you'd never leave anyway, at least not in spirit. If you grew up in small town North Dakota you probably know exactly what I mean and here's why growing up here is the best.
