These historic photos of Nebraska were originally commissioned by the Farm Security Administration and is available via the Library of Congress and other public sites. The photographers concentrated most of their attention on the more populous eastern part of the state. We're so fortunate to have these photos depicting life in the 1930s in Nebraska to remind us of what yesterday looked like and to give us a sense of pride in our Nebraska roots.
