Are you a fan of kayaking? Or have you always wanted to try? There's no other kayaking adventure quite like the following one in Maryland. Check out this ghost ship graveyard where you can paddle among the ruins of over 200 World War I ships. People travel from all over the world to see this remarkable spot and it's not hard to see why -- it's unique and absolutely bucket list-worthy.
You'll find Mallows Bay hiding in Charles County, Maryland.
This area may seem ordinary at first glance...
...but a closer look reveals that this bay is full of sunken ships.
Most of the 230 ships here were built during World War I. By the time the war ended, many of the vessels were deemed obsolete or unusable. They were set aflame and sunken in Mallows Bay.
Today, you can kayak among the ship ruins. They've become a fascinating habitat for the underwater life here.
While most of the ruins remain underwater...
...some peek out above the surface, making for an interesting sight.
Paddle right up to the structures and marvel at all of the rusty details.
Known as the largest shipwreck fleet in the Western Hemisphere, Mallows Bay is certainly unique and worth seeking out.
