Ah, Idaho history. It seems like we just can't get enough of it. Taking a trip down memory lane to a time of old-school general stores, pristine scenery, and simpler times is such a wonderful way to relax and let the nostalgia wash over. With the new season comes planting, farming, recreation, and timber, so we thought we would gather up some rare photos of Idahoans doing just that. Idahoans doing what they do, if you will In some ways, not much has changed at all! In others, we've come a long ways.
1. In between hiking, fishing, rafting, and accomplishing outdoorsy things, Idahoans have always been raised with a natural work ethic.

2. We built our big-little state from the ground, up.
3. Cut trees and sent them down the line with our bare hands.
4. With man's best friend by our side.
5. And the help of good company.
6. We always get the job done.
7. For others, toiling the land was the way to earn an honest living.
8. Plowing the old-school way with the team we saved up money for years to buy.
9. Building canals.
10. Gathering the harvest.
11. Creating power.
12. And later... a few machines as well.
13. Of course, transforming Idaho's landscape into rich agricultural ground was never a one-man effort.
14. It took some forward thinking and vision.
15. But the rewards were well worth it...
16. And easy to see!

18. Or just to the local general store...
19. Our homegrown blood, sweat, and elbow grease has made this state a beautiful place to call home...
