Adventure Playground is packed with tons of adventurous play structures including a treehouse, a sensory garden, and plenty of places for climbing and sliding. Who says a playground has to be outside? Sometimes, some of the best playgrounds are indoors. One of our favorites is Urban Jungle Fun Park. Modeled after a modern metropolis, this urban playground will let you scale tall walls and buildings, jump around on a trampoline, and take a fast ride down a mega-long slide. When it comes to a playground that the adults will love just as much as the kids, Fletcher Cove Park is always a hit. Located right on the beach and offering the most stellar view, this hidden gem is adored by locals and visitors who are lucky enough to find this place. Spending some time at SoCal's best playgrounds wouldn't be the same without making a stop at some epic water parks. Raging Waters offers over 50 acres of fun ranging from epic water slides, a wave pool, and even a lazy river where you can float the day away. Sand dunes may not be the first thing that comes to mind when coming up with a list of playgrounds in SoCal, but after spending a little time at this local gem you'll see why it's a perfect addition to the list. Sand Dune Park, located at 33rd and Bell Avenue in Manhattan Beach, has been a fun place to play in the sand since 1964.
Wandering through this colorful playground is like being transported to a fairytale come to life. Queen Califia Magical Circle, tucked inside Kit Carson Park, is located at 3333 Bear Valley Pkwy., Escondido, CA 92025. A perfect place for a delightful afternoon where you'll be surrounded by whimsical sculptures, this lovely playground will definitely bring out the kid in you.
