It’s also the season of festivals, and the most delicious festival of the year just might be the Charlestown Seafood Festival in Rhode Island. Start counting down the days, because it’ll be here before you know it.
Mark your calendar, because you don’t want to miss the 37th Annual Charlestown Seafood Festival, slated for August 5-7, 2022.
The epic seafood festival, one of the premier food festivals in New England, will take place at Ninigret Park. If you’ve never been before, you’re likely heading into year one of a new summertime tradition.
While the final lineup of vendors has yet to be finalized, those that participated in last year’s seafood festival include D&L Lobsters, Rhode Island Shell Fishermen, and Chili Bros Food Company.
Seafood may be the main attraction at the festival, but you’ll also find scores of other favorites – fried dough, fries, shaved ice, poutine, and a whole lot more.
However, that’s just beginning of the action-packed weekend that will also feature carnival rides, arts and crafts, a car show, and a kids zone. A full schedule of live music is also on tap.
The admission fee for the Charlestown Seafood Festival is $12 for adults while kiddos 10 years and younger are free. Seniors and military members pay just $9.
