This Is The Newest State Park In Rhode Island And It’s Incredible
Rhode Island might be a small state, but it is filled with gorgeous natural attractions. From state beaches to parks; you’ll simply never run out of fantastic outdoorsy activities. Being that it is the second most densely populated state (second only to New Jersey) new open space catering to the general public is not a common event. There simply isn’t much open space left! Somehow, this fantastic park managed to open just a few years back and has been a wonderful place to visit since.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Did you know you can also remember the good ol’ days at Rocky Point Amusement Park with food? Read about the clam shack inspired by the park here.
