Spring’s underway, but for some of us, it’s never really officially spring until we’ve hopped aboard a few rides, played some games, and eaten traditional fair goodies, until we’re stuffed, at this spring festival in Rhode Island. Mark your calendar because, if you’ve never been before, this is one annual event you don’t want to miss.
Start counting down the days to the return of the annual Misquamicut Spring Festival at Misquamicut State Beach in Westerly, slated for May 13-15, 2022.
A picture-perfect way to celebrate the season, the family-friendly event promises a jam-packed menu of fun – from classic carnival rides to entertainment throughout the weekend.
Admire sensational view of Block Island from atop the Ferris Wheel, or watch the kiddos as they climb aboard such popular kiddie rides as the Merry Go Round, Dizzy Dragons, and Circus Train.
With the non-stop excitement, you’re sure to work up a hearty appetite. The popular spring festival boasts 400 feet of food trucks for its Food Truck Rodeo. You’ll find a little bit of everything – from tacos and clam cakes to cotton candy and kettle corn.
Admission to the Misquamicut Spring Festival is $12 while kiddos under seven are free. Tickets can be purchased individually or in sets. On Sunday you can buy an all-day ride pass.
