One Of The Best Restaurants In Pennsylvania Can Be Found Inside This Historic Bank
History whispers just about everywhere we go in Pennsylvania. And, that means plenty of opportunities for unique experiences – whether we’re purposefully searching out a spot with a rich history or we’re simply sitting down for a delicious meal. Next time you’re on the hunt for a truly memorable dining experience, head to this charming restaurant in Pennsylvania that once served as a neighborhood bank.
Tucked in the charming town of West Grove, Twelves Grill & Cafe sits in a more than 125-year-old historic former bank building.
In fact, you'll still see plenty of reminders of the restaurant's historic past as First National Bank of West Grove, a neighborhood staple as far back as 1900.
Tim and Kristin Smith originally founded Twelves - named in honor of their birthdays and anniversary - in 2008. Today, Knute and Bernadette Mellon own the restaurant, after purchasing it from the Smiths in July of 2018.
Pull up a chair - and on warm days, dine outside on the front porch - and take a peek at the generous menu. (Twelves Grill & Cafe is BYOB, so be sure to bring your favorite alcoholic beverage.)
Dine in this historic former bank, open for lunch Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and for dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Or, sit down to Sunday dinner from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
