The Color Park Is The Most Unique Park In Pittsburgh, And It Belongs On Your To Do List
Graffiti’s typically frowned upon and, in most cases, is considered vandalism. However, Pittsburgh’s home to one unique place where graffiti is welcomed. Visitors, in fact, are encouraged to bring their own paint to join in on the fun and the creativity. Pack your paint and let inspiration wash over you when you stop by The Color Park in Pittsburgh.
The Color Park earns props as one of the most unique hidden gems in the city - both for its unusual goal and its tucked away location.
Nestled along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, the park sits between the Liberty Bridge and the 10th Street Bridge. (Wait until you see the views of the city skyline.)
In fact, local artist Baron Batch, who had been reported for vandalism at that spot, speerheaded the creation of the park, which is designed to bring color and joy to an otherwise rundown area.
