You’ll pass by rolling farmland, through quiet woodlands, and along bustling neighborhoods. Nestled in Ligonier, The Eastwood Inn is 53 miles from downtown Pittsburgh.
The Eastwood Inn, a charming restaurant in Ligonier, first opened in 1934. Since then, the steakhouse has become a favorite spot for Western Pennsylvanians.
However, all guests are required to follow the establishment's dress code. Shorts are not permitted (for men). Pants and "appropriate" jeans are acceptable.
Start your meal with a generous appetizer. Options include fried cheese, onion rings, shrimp, and fresh-cut fries. Prefer something that will warm you up? The steakhouse also serves onion soup and beef vegetable soup.
Of course, the most popular item on the menu is the steak, for which the restaurant is known. New York strip steak, t-bone, and rib-eye are your choices.
All steaks come with mushrooms, a salad, and a vegetable. Your choice of vegetables includes home fries, baked potato, corn, succotash, and steamed carrots.
Although famous for its steaks, the Eastwood Inn also serves fried chicken, Salisbury steak, pork chops, and lamb chops. Or, opt for the six cocktail shrimp cocktail salad.
The Eastwood Inn welcomes guests for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged at all times. However, reservations are required on weekends and from 8:30 p.m. during the week.
