However, this burger hotspot in Pittsburgh has become a go-to for countless Pittsburghers since the 1980s. It’s the perfect place to satisfy your growling stomach.
Tessaro’s has been a Bloomfield favorite since it opened in the 1980s, developing a glowing reputation for its huge classic burgers.
Although it originally debuted during the beginning of the 1980s, the popular burger hotspot was purchased by Kelly Harrington, who has since passed away, in 1984.
Harrington’s love of burgers helped make Tessaro’s the popular restaurant is it today. If you love a good burger, you’ll definitely want to try what some call “the best burgers in Western Pennsylvania.”
Make sure you’re good and hungry when you visit, especially if you’re going to order a burger. They’re huge, and you’ve quite a few from which to choose.
Regardless of the type of burger, each is made from freshly-ground beef cuts and grilled on the restaurant’s cast iron grill. Pair your burger with a classic side – chips, potato salad, or coleslaw, for example.
Tessaro’s grills classic burgers with your choice of toppings. The barbecue burger, the Cajun burger, and the breakfast burger are just a few of your other choices.
