The Tiny Town Hiding In Philadelphia’s Shadow You Simply Must Visit
Philadelphia has some wonderful suburban towns, from exciting New Hope to the mouthwatering restaurant town of Collingswood. One little town may have flown under your radar, though. Haddonfield, New Jersey is located just past Collingswood along the PATCO Speedline, and you’ll want to plan a visit to this charming, historic town as soon as possible.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

The gift shop, along with the British Chip Shop across the street, make Kings Highway seem like a little slice of England right in New Jersey.

The Kings Highway district is full of great shops, from fashion boutiques to pet stores, an old-fashioned toy store, and an enormous candy shop.

The Little Tuna is one of the best seafood spots you'll find in the suburbs, and the soon to be open Passariello's is going to be a great place for a casual bite. A little farther down Haddon Avenue, you'll find a handful of delicious Italian BYOBs, like Tre Famiglia.

Most of the restaurants offer outdoor dining, and many of them are even dog-friendly.

The carriage rides in the fall and winter are a favorite of many visitors. It's a great way to see the town.

Typically, Thursday nights are your best bet to sample dozens of treats from local food trucks.

It's easily accessible from Center City - just take the PATCO to the Haddonfield Station, which is within walking distance to all of the cool things that Haddonfield has to offer.
