The Largest Roller Rink In Pennsylvania Will Fill You With Nostalgia
Olympic Fun Center offers a nostalgic 1980s roller skating experience with rental skates, live DJ music, and themed events.
Time for a blast from the past! Back to the carefree '80s when we woke up to eat cereal and watch classic cartoons on Saturday morning. That age when we'd spend our Friday and Saturday nights hanging out at the mall, eating pizza and fries, or catching a movie at the local theater. And, of course, how many of us embarked on the quintessential '80s experience - lacing up our roller skates with our decorative pom poms and spending hours at the local roller rink?
Get ready for an afternoon or evening of sheer, 1980s-style fun when you visit Olympic Fun Center, which boasts a spectacular and huge skating rink.
Those well-worn roller skates long gone from your closet? No worries! Ask for your size from the nearly 1,000 pairs of rental skates.
Or, if you prefer a more modern experience, rent a pair of inline skates. Skate rentals cost a cool $3 per pair.
Bringing a little one along who's just learning to roller skate? Rent a $3 Skate Mate to help her or him to safely learn how to skate around the rink.
Of course, you can't roller skate without a little music from a live DJ, right? Request your favorite songs from back in the day (or from today) as you skate to the beat under colorful lights.
And, when's the last time you skated under a limbo bar? How low do you think you can go this time around?
For an even bigger dose of nostalgia, wear your favorite fluorescent clothes for an evening of skating in the dark when the rink hosts Black Out Skates.
Do the limbo at Olympic Fun Center skating rink, open Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Or, visit Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
