Spring in Pennsylvania brings with it certain beloved traditions – the cry of “play ball” at baseball stadiums around the state, that first trip to our favorite amusement park, and a day at this annual spring festival in Pennsylvania. For two weekends every spring for 75 years, Pennsylvanians have flocked to the hugely popular Pennsylvania Maple Festival. Based in Meyersdale, it’s well worth a repeat spot on your bucket list, too. This year’s event is scheduled for two weekends in April – the 20-21 followed by the 24-28 – but will also be preceded by a Maple Taste and Tour Weekend on March 9-10. This is just the prelude to an epic event all maple lovers will want to put on their calendars! We can’t wait to see how the 2024 event will be even better than ever.
