Feel as though you've journeyed back to the Colonial days when you arrive at Dilworthtown Inn, a restaurant that's been serving delectable dinners since 1972.
Boasting three floors and 15 restored dining rooms, including one in historic stables, the restaurant promises a cozy setting, as you dine by candlelight.
Relax with a glass of wine from the wine cellar that dates back to 1758. In fact, you'll have plenty of choices from more than 800 wines.
Then, as you sip your wine, peruse the menu that regularly changes. Appetizers may include shrimp cocktail, escargot, and apple & lobster crostini.
Or start off with a piping hot bowl of soup or a crisp salad. The house salad, for example, features fresh artisan lettuce, carrots, sesame, and croutons.
Of course, the entrees also rotate, although you may have such options as pan seared salmon, rainbow trout, and surf and turf.
And if you're in the mood for steak, you'll hit the jackpot with the New York strip and the filet mignon.
