Summer is about halfway through (gasp!) and if you’re still looking for ideas on fun things to do, check out this list. Here are 12 unforgettable things you must add to your Portland summer bucket list. Hurry, before it’s too late!
1. Float the Willamette.
Floating down the Willamette is an ultimate summer experience that you can share with thousands of other Portlanders.
2. Visit the Rose Festival.
Kick summer off right with a trip to the annual early summer tradition, the Rose Festival.
3. Swim in a river.
Summer is not complete without a swim in the Columbia or Willamette River.
4. Watch fireworks on the river.
We love our fireworks in Oregon, and watching the 4th of July show over the river is a summer tradition.
5. Listen to music on the waterfront.
The Waterfront Blues Festival or Sunday Markets are great places to start.

Explore different neighborhoods as you roll with thousands of other bikers, walkers, and runners through the city.
