What This Drone Footage Captured At This Abandoned Portland Building Is Truly Grim

In 2015, NW Natural began the demolition of one Portland’s most mysteriously glorious structural wonders. The Portland Gas & Coke was built in 1913, solely with the purpose to coke gas and fuel from coal. This wondrous manufacture site was beloved in Portland. So beloved, in fact, that group called Save the Portland GasCo Building attempted to raise $2 million to avoid demolishing the building, but unfortunately to no avail. Join us in an awe-inspiring but grim drone tour of this historic abandoned building.
