Oregon’s Wine Country is world renowned, but the Beaver State’s beer scene is also in a league of its own. In addition to distinct brews featuring Oregon-grown hops (which also thrive in the wine-centric Willamette Valley!), our state offers a brew-pub experience with views. for. days. (Have you seen the vistas from Pelican Brewing Company? Swoon!) For those that choose not to imbibe, however, there are places like Public Coast Brewing Co., a delightful brewpub that features the finest Oregon ales and Beaver State root beers around.
The Oregon Coast is lauded as The People's Coast, with all 363 miles of its shores free and open to everyone.
And there's one brewery on the Oregon Coast that takes this mantra to heart.
Public Coast Brewing Company is a charming brewpub in Cannon Beach, and it's quite possibly the most accessible and welcoming brewery in all of Oregon.
Public Coast is run by a trio of experts: Founder Ryan Snyder, Master Brewer Will Leroux, and Root Beer Specialist Stephen Snyder (who was just 12 when he started brewing -- more on that in a second!), and they really put their hearts and souls into making the best and finest brews in Oregon.
Th varieties here are sure to catch your attention; Public Coast brews everything from blonde ales and honey reds to blueberry-infused hard seltzers, IPAs, and even root beer!
The food here is beloved by all, from classic fish and chips (because, we are on the Oregon Coast, after all) to hand-battered sweet onion rings to every kid's favorite food group: pizza.
