This Might Just Be The Most Peaceful Town In All Of Oklahoma
Perched above the beauty of Lake Eufaula sits Oklahoma’s newest town – Carlton Landing. This charming town is unlike anything found in Oklahoma and the moment you arrive, you’ll feel like you’re in Seaside, Florida, rather than the Sooner State.
Whether you enjoy nightly strolls around the block or an evening out on the grass watching the sunset, you’ll find tranquility in this delightful town.
Carlton Landing is a resort-style walking community on the shores of Lake Eufaula in northeastern Oklahoma. It was incorporated in 2013 with just 56 residents and has more than tripled its residency over the last few years.
Southern Living called this charming eco-friendly town a "storybook town" and we couldn’t agree more. The streets are so peaceful and filled with tranquility.
There are several parks and pools where you can find a quiet spot to relax or read a good book. They hold weekly events where residents are encouraged to join in.
The community is all interconnected with walkways and sidewalks, so everything is easily accessible. There's the Boulevard General Store, Off the Hook Fish House and Mama Tig’s Wood Fired Pizza for all your culinary needs.
Carlton Landing promotes a healthy lifestyle so it was designed with recreational activities in mind. There are lots of places to walk, hike, kayak, bike, swim or fish.
