Since 1927 they have been serving some of the finest cuisines in the state, and word has spread over the years just how delicious and homey this place is. Clanton's Cafe is a down-home, laid back eatery off Route 66 in the town of Vinita. They opened in 1927 and has been a family tradition in Oklahoma ever since.
There are lots of booths to sprawl out in and the walls are decorated with fun memorabilia. You'll even see one of Guy Fieri, who featured the restaurant on his show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives."

They are famous for their chicken fried steak and after just one bite you'll see why. The steak is tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside. And the creamy country gravy is just as perfect as the mashed potatoes and steak.
