Hiding in Mohican State Park in Loudonville, you’ll find one of the deepest gorges in Ohio along the Hemlock Gorge Trail. It’s a nature lover’s happy place. The next time you want to have a secluded adventure in Ohio nature, consider this gem of a trail.
A 3-mile trail one way, the Hemlock Gorge Trail connects to the North Rim Trail within Mohican State Park.
Note: The Hemlock Gorge Trail is considered easy to moderate.
If you continue your journey past the covered bridge, the Hemlock Gorge Trail connects to the Lyons Falls Trails, which is worth the extra time to explore.
