The One Enchanting Place In Ohio That Must Go On Your Bucket List Immediately

Ohio is full of enchanting places you probably didn’t even know existed, but there’s one (semi) little-known destination in particular that’s captivating year-round.

This historic site of Clifton Mill features a vintage mill, a covered bridge, a 1940s-era gas station and a quaint American restaurant. (John Bryan State Park is close to this serene attraction and offers beautiful hiking trails if you’re searching for something more adventurous.) It’s a lovely day trip destination. Take a look:

One of the largest water powered grist mills still in existence, Clifton Mill is fueled by the Little Miami River.

The first mill at this site was built in 1802. Since then, the mill has been run by various families and multiple generations.

On site, you'll also find a 90-foot covered bridge, which features beautiful views of the Little Miami River and the gorge below.

A little vintage village is also on display.

The 1940s-era gas station is covered with vintage signs from the 1940s. It's sure to incite some nostalgia in you for yesteryear.

During the holiday season, Clifton Mill is decked out with thousands of lights.

It's truly a magical, winter wonderland you don't want to miss.
