7 Museums Over An Hour From Cleveland That Are Well Worth A Road Trip

The Land is slowly becoming accepted as a unique travel destination. In fact, last year, Cleveland broke records in terms of the tourism it attracted. However, we Clevelanders are accustomed to the familiar sights of our landscape. While we still adore the many incredible museums, parks, and other attractions we have, there are several museums in Northeast Ohio that are beyond the boundaries of Greater Cleveland that will feel as new and fresh to us as our landmarks do to visitors. Pile in the car and buckle on up, because these unique destinations are well worth the drive from Cleveland.

During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.

These museums in Northeast Ohio may not be in our own backyard, but they’re worth visiting. Have you journeyed to any of these unique destinations? Which is your favorite?

While you’re out and about exploring the Northeast Ohio landscape, be sure to swing through Dover to visit the Victorian Home & Carriage House Museum!
