One particular chapel in Over-the-Rhine has an understated exterior, but the interior is simply miraculous. There’s no other church in the world like Old St. Mary’s, and its white steeple is a beautiful site amongst the other historic buildings surrounding it.

The ornate interior will have your eyes dancing all around at the artwork, large windows, and historic features. When music plays from the large pipe organ, the church is filled with an incredible sound.
The details of Old St. Mary's are what sets it apart and they have been meticulously maintained.
Excavations began in 1841 and it was dedicated on July 3, 1842, making it the oldest standing church in Cincinnati. It also boasts Cincinnati's oldest bell tower - which is actually one of the oldest in the entire country. This sacred space is unique in its beauty and longstanding history and a place all Cincinnatians should see for themselves.
