A Trip To Cincinnati’s Favorite Donut Shop Will Change The Way You Eat Your Breakfast
Many restaurants have come and gone in our city, but since 1960 Holtman’s Donut Shop has been satisfying Cincinnati’s sweet tooth with their unbelievable donuts. And now, we have a new reason to celebrate this little donut shop, because they’ve recently expanded and we couldn’t be happier.
In 1960, Charles Holtman opened a sweet little donut shop in Newtown where his family began the tradition that is now a favorite in Cincinnati.
There's often a line out the door, and it's best to visit early to make sure you get your favorite variety. The ambiance of each shop differs, but the friendly staff and sugary smells are the same at each location.
The Holtman family has always made their sweet concoctions from scratch daily, and you can taste the freshness.
Go simple with Glazed or try one of their unique creations like those topped with favorite cereals or even bacon. You can't go in and just get one, so go ahead and get a box to share...or maybe not.
There's even more evidence that Holtman's is a Cincinnati favorite, as they've just expanded to West Chester.
Their newest location just opened and is serving up the same sweet treats in a charming shop. Since they make their donuts daily and it's obviously been very popular, get there early for now in case they sell out!
Holtman's Donut Shop is the perfect blend of innovative and classic, with the most mouthwatering donuts around.
If this photo doesn't make you want to swing by and pick out a few donuts, we don’t know what will! Just know that you won't be disappointed with your breakfast, lunch, snack, or whatever from Holtman's!
Holtman’s Donut Shop is a Cincinnati treasure and we’re forever thankful for this family continuing to keep the sweet tradition alive. Do you love Holtman’s Donuts? What’s your favorite flavor? Share with us in the comments!
Holtman’s Donut Shop now has four area locations in Loveland, Williamsburg, OTR, and newly opened in West Chester. For more information and directions, check out their website here.
