If You Live In Cincinnati, You Won’t Want To Miss The Best Fireworks Show Of The Year
If you live in Cincinnati, you know that the true end of summer doesn’t come when the kids go back to school or even when the pools close. The end of summer is official when crowds gather at the riverfront for the most epic fireworks show of the year! The Western & Southern WEBN Fireworks are a Queen City tradition that you won’t want to miss.

Riverfest and the popular fireworks display are always held on Sunday of Labor Day weekend and mark the end of summer in the city. Crowds of Cincinnatians head to the riverfront for a massive celebration and the best views of the show.

The show, which kicks off at 9:05pm, is hosted by WEBN, who accompanies the fireworks with the perfect soundtrack. There's a battle between both sides of the river - Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky - to see who can scream the loudest and prove which side of the river is better (hint: it's us).

The show includes a variety of fireworks, and even involves the bridges for some unique waterfalls and other displays.

You are allowed to bring a blanket, but no lawn chairs are allowed into the festival. It is an alcohol-free event, but there will be several vendors selling food and drinks, as well as live entertainment throughout the day.

Of course there is no experience like being on a boat in the river during the show. Other favorite spots include Mt. Adams, areas of Ft. Thomas, and the Incline District area of the westside.

Cincinnati's Labor Day Weekend fireworks are a longstanding tradition. Our city comes alive and gathers together to celebrate the end of summer and a mutual love for our hometown.
