Indian Mound Reserve is a stunning 169-acre area filled with bountiful wildlife, unique geological formations, and one of Ohio's most magnificent waterfalls: Cedar Cliff Falls.

The waterfall is relatively easy to access, especially if you park at the Cedar Cliffs Parking Area. However, there's a network of trails that will also lead you here, and the journey is spectacular.

In fact, there's an extensive network of trails within Indian Mound Reserve as well as nearby Peterson Park and Williamson Mound.

One of many routes to reach the waterfall is a 3-mile out-and-back trail that begins at the historic Log House, built before 1825.

Another option is to start at Peterson Park, which is also part of the Indian Mound.

From there, you'll follow the Gorge Trail and Rim Trail eastward as you make your way to the spectacular waterfall.

The trail is well-maintained and easy for most hikers to complete.
