This is a 2.3 mile hike. Great place to do a short hike or explore more of what this beautiful city has to offer! The scenery is breathtaking, and the trail is quite manageable and varied. Also, enjoy beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

The 2.1-mile Presidio Promenade is a major east-west trail bringing visitors from the park’s urban edge at the Lombard Gate to the Golden Gate Bridge. Presidio Promenade trail takes people through centuries of history.

This is a classic city hike that is easy to do. A flat walk guaranteed to thrill with all of the best city icons. This hike from Crissy Field to Fort Point is one of the country's prettiest urban walks, with panoramic views galore.

The Bay Area Ridge Trail is the perfect trail to take visitors since it ends at the Golden Gate Bridge. It's a short hike, although there is some uphill walking on the way back from the bridge. This is a classic hike that will be sure to dazzle you.

Try the 1.6-mile loop hike by taking the shaded trail in John Mclaren Park. Enter the park from Mansell Street onto John F. Shelley Drive. You'll pass the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater, while hiking, across Shelley Drive. There are plenty more miles of hikes in this park too.

A hidden gem of a trail near downtown, Mission Creek Park has a great walking loop that starts at the 7th Street entrance. This is a trail to enjoy lots of greenery and beautiful scenery, check out the houseboats, and hit up the dog park with your pooch. Make sure to check out the colorful line of houseboats docked.
