This restaurant is a ski buff’s dream– or anyone who loves a good mountain view. Perched at 8,200 feet, even if you’re not hitting the slopes all day, you’ll enjoy feeling like you’re above the clouds at this high elevation restaurant and bar. Granite Bistro Cafe has great food but you’ll likely dine here for the amazing views. From the restaurant you can watch skiers on the slopes, as well as view the surrounding mountains and valleys. 

It’s an adventure just to get to the restaurant, since it is located at what’s called “High Camp.”

First you’ll arrive at Palisades Tahoe and walk through the Olympic Village to get to the tram entrance. Tickets for the Aerial Tram can be purchased ahead of your visit. The tram ride takes about 10 minutes. 
High Camp consists of a large pool area, an ice skating rink, disc golf, geocaching, and two restaurants, including Granite Bistro.

The Bistro overlooks the pool and mountains, and has a lively atmosphere.
High in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, in Olympic Valley, Granite Bistro is a happening place to grab a burger and a draft beer after a ride up the mountain.
