B. Bryan Preserve is an exotic wildlife preserve located along the Mendocino Coast in Point Arena. The preserve is dedicated to providing critically endangered species a place to roam while educating visitors about these incredible animals.
The preserve is adamant about its differences from a zoo. They are home to only a handful of different animals, but they all are able to roam freely in vast areas that replicate their natural habitats.
Visitors are taken on a tour of the 110-acre preserve. They'll bring you as close to the animals as possible, but not too close since many of the animals are still considered partly wild.
The one animal species you can get seriously up close to is the Rothschild giraffe. Considered the tallest animal on land, these giraffes are extremely friendly. Only hundreds are left of them in the world, so seeing them with your own eyes is a truly incredible experience.
All of the preserve's animals are either endangered or at risk of becoming endangered species. Here you'll see two species of zebras (Hartmann’s Mountain and Grevy’s) that have unfortunately become endangered due to human conflict.
You might become so enthralled while touring the preserve that you just can't bring yourself to leave. Reserve one of their charming cottages for a unique overnight adventure that can't be rivaled.
A retreat to B. Bryan Preserve is both an exciting and relaxing experience. Choose one of their three cottages for your next getaway. Each cottage is comfortably decorated, instantly making you feel right at home.
Can you imagine a better location for your next vacation? Their cottages are surrounded by the preserve's beautiful scenery. You might even wake up to the sight of a zebra grazing outside your window.
