Walk Underneath Tigers, See Rare Animals, And More At The Roosevelt Park Zoo In North Dakota

North Dakota has only a handful of zoos. There are two in the Red River Valley – Red River Zoo in Fargo and the Chahinkapa Zoo in Wahpeton – and one in the state’s capital city, the Dakota Zoo in Bismarck. You can also experience wild animals in the west when you explore places like the badlands, where the bison really do roam and wild horse herds thrive. One of the best places to see rare animals in ways you never have before is the Roosevelt Park Zoo in the Magic City.

During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.

The Roosevelt Park Zoo is open year-round with seasonal hours. You can find more information about the zoo on their website and on their Facebook page.
