Try These 4 North Dakota Restaurants For A Magical Outdoor Dining Experience
The weather is nice, which means it’s time to get outdoors and spend as much time as you can enjoying the warmer temperatures. Though outdoor dining isn’t very popular in North Dakota because it is a seasonal thing, these four restaurants have beautiful outdoor seating that will make your dining experience a special one.
1. City Lights Supper Club - Valley City
The name of this place is perfectly fitting. If you have your dinner here in the evening on their beautiful patio, you'll get a great view of the lights of Valley City. I highly recommend their walleye if you eat here - it's simply divine. What could be better than a lovely dinner out with tasty food and the best view of the city?
City Lights Supper Club is located at 2369 Elm St. in Valley City.
2. Pitchfork Steak Fondue - Medora
Yes, that is steak on a pitchfork. And those steaks will be cooked by being deep fried fondue style right in front of you while the buttes of the badlands are literally right behind you. The spectacular view and fun experience - and of course, the resulting tasty 12oz steak - make the Pitchfork Steak Fondue truly unique and totally worth it if you are visiting Medora.
The Pitchfork Steak Fondue is located in Medora right by the Medora Musical in a place called Tjaden Terrace.
3. Rhombus Guys - Fargo and Grand Forks
Experience downtown Fargo from high up on the roof of the Rhombus Guys restaurant. Their pizza is some of the best in the entire state and well worth repeat visits to try them all. And there are lots of kinds, trust me. The view is awesome and there aren't many other rooftop dining experiences in North Dakota, so here is your chance.
Rhombus Guys has two locations, one in Fargo at 312 Kittson Ave, and one in Grand Forks at 606 Main Ave.
4. The Pond - Bismarck
Part of Lucky Duck's Deli, The Pond offers a great atmosphere for a summer evening out to eat with their spacious patio and mouthwatering food. There are events going on there all summer long including live music performances to really make your visit special. And yes, they do serve duck there!
Visit The Pond at 307 N 3rd Street in Bismarck.
