If you’re like us, then dining out is often an adventure as much as it is a chance to refuel.The next time you’re putting together a foodie adventure, consider heading to Hickory and getting a reservation at a historic Victorian house (circa, 1913) that’s now a delightful restaurant. It’s called Vintage House and that is precisely what you’ll find: a vintage house with delicious food.

Dinner in the main dining room feels almost like revisiting the past and dining in the home's original living room. A grand fireplace is the focal point in the space. White linens and candlelight add to the romantic ambiance in this room.

Vintage house may not look large from the outside, but looks can be deceiving.

Inside, you'll find a lovely group of more private dining rooms, each with their own unique decor. The sun porch is a lovely place to enjoy the views through the large windows.

Over in another spot: a hidden table snuggled inbetween the shingled walls.

Still another cozy room, the study seats up to 10 guests and is the smallest of the five seating areas.

The menu is a flavorful medley offering American fare with a special chef's twist. Entrees include choices of seafood, meat, poultry, and pork.

And dessert? Well... let's just say you need to take some of that dinner home in a box so you can enjoy dessert before you leave!
